Covid regulations tier 2

Only diners are allowed on the premises for the table service of substantial meals (drinking only not allowed)

No mixed bubbles and maximum size of any bubble is 6

Track and trace details must be provided.

Masks are compulsory when not seated.

Table service only and table hopping is not allowed.

No loud music.

So….

We shall be offering special prices on 2 to 4 course dinners as well as all drinks so that you can still enjoy an evening out but you must prebook a table. Takeaways are also available (see website for details) but again they must be prebooked.

The bar door will be closed and entry for those who have booked will be through the main door, the exit through the side door. The bar area will be available and socially distanced tables will be available.

Only  diners with bookings are allowed to enter the building. Takeout orders should be collected from the rear of the building from the marquee or outbuilding.

We shall accept bookings up to 9.00 pm for the restaurant and up to 10 pm for take away food.

Definition of Substantial Meals

The guidelines define "substantial meals" as "a full breakfast, main lunchtime or evening meal".

Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick also ruled out traditional pub snacks like a packet of crisps or a side of fries. He suggested a Cornish pasty on its own would not constitute a substantial meal, unless it came on a plate, to a table, with a side of chips or salad.

'No lingering' warning issued by spokesman, who says people cannot stay 'once the meal is finished'
